Hi Kieran,
Thanks for the very productive zoom yesterday. I have discussed the site plan with Regina and these are the page structure changes we would like to make.
Homepage: This would have Regina’s message from the Principal and omit the message from the Trustee.
About Us: Could the policies be moved as a sub heading of About Us. We feel there is no specific need for four separate sub headings under policies as these can all be included in the main list of policies. We would also like if the Child Safety Section could be included as a sub heading of About Us.
We are happy to keep Admissions and Guidance in the positions they are currently.
Covid Pages: We do not feel these need to be included on the new site.
School Life: We would like to have pages for Curriculum, Student Councils, Learning Support, Pastoral Care, Transition Year and Extra Curricular. Under Extra Curricular we would like to have sub pages for Sports and Debating. We will not be including the Science page.
Parents Info: We would like to remove the page for Development. We were wondering if it was possible to put the parents info section behind a login portion of the website. I have seen this on a number of other schools’ websites where a section with materials relevant to the student or parent are accessible only to those with a password for a specific section of the sites which includes sub pages. This would allow us to put pertinent brochure information online for parents without other schools having access to it.
With regards to the news section we were wondering if it would be best to have this as a widget on the main/ multiple pages rather than just on one designated news page?
I have included a link to a Google Drive which I am populating with photos of the school. As I am away from Home until next week I am gradually adding photos as I retrieve them from the various cloud locations they have been stored in by the school over the years.

Let me know if you have any questions or queries.
Kind regards Ciaran
